Jelanikay, is a music artist, who was born in Beverly Hills Hospital and grew up in Hawthorne, California, near El Segundo and Cranbrook. He was inspired by Lil Wayne and Birdman. He always wanted to rap like him when he was younger. He was always rapping in middle school and was always into poetry as a kid, so it was always easy for him to rhyme. Jelanikay is a one-of-a-kind artist who creates cautious trap music, as he calls it, because his songs always encourage his listeners to stay out of trouble and just make money. People love and respect him not only for keeping his city safe, but also for looking out when no one else will, and there aren’t many artists who will do anything like this. Apart from music, Jelanikay is a huge inspiration who cares about people, as he stated, “I see a lot of kids wasting their lives trying to be in this life and just hope they stick to the skateboard and then mmm sports and books I just want the youth to take advantage of the skills and lessons being taught for their life in the future finesse the system the way the system finesse us.”
